I often talk about the importance of buying (and rocking) a “Power Lipstick”. I find such joy in discovering a new shade that makes me feel like I can take on the world, one velvety swipe at a time! A staple in my makeup bag is this soft chocolate shade by Charlotte Tilbury, named after the iconic Jane Birkin. “Birkin Brown” is part of the “Matte Revolution” range but it is truly versatile in that you can blend it seamlessly with other colors. Nude to mute it, pink to warm it up…and so on.

I am a total lip gloss addict so for me adding a slick of clear gloss is what makes the lip colour work for me. After my fiancé bought me a lipstick that I had my eye on one day while strolling around Covent Garden, it’s become a tradition that every time we’re in the area I pop into what is THE most gorgeous shop ever, and purchase a new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. Though there are so many beautiful options to choose from I do highly recommend giving “Birkin Brown” a whirl. It’s instant sophistication in a tube!
