Holiday LBD (featuring River Island)

The “little black dress” is a fool proof way to ensure you’ll look stylish and sophisticated in any season. With holiday parties fast approaching I wanted to show you a few options that I think will be the perfect backdrop to the shoes, bags, accessories and outwear that speak to your personal style. Mix it up however you wish but remember a few key trends if you need for instant pizzazz! Like touches of crushed velvet, embellished pumps and faux fur coats in fun colors, styles and prints.

In my featured look, pictured here amongst New York’s beautiful changing leaves, I chose a dress from River Island that features a sexy sheer panel in front (oh my!) and elegant billowing bell sleeves. The simple choker is also from River Island and the dramatic pearl and tassel earrings are vintage, purchased from a perennial favorite store in Orlando: Dechoes Resale. I kept everything sleek and feminine here but this dress, like most LBD’s, could be worn in a myriad of ways.
