What I wore…

Sunglasses: Express Cargo Jacket: H&M Top: Love Culture Necklace: Vintage Brooch: Nordstrom Rack Pants: Double Zero Bag: Louis Vuitton (Speedy 30) Shoes: Buffalo Musical Inspiration: “Army of Angels” by @TheScript

The military trend is one that I believe will not and should not go away. I’ve created a look for todays post that is comfortable enough to travel in but still has a bit of sparkle so the “glam factor” isn’t lost! What a tragedy THAT would be.

These pants from the label “Double Zero” are an excellent shape that is super easy to wear yet interesting enough to keep the look modern. They’re in a typical “Army Green” yet have a subtle glittered tiger stripe pattern. I wore them out with the girls one night without the jacket and added super high black heels. It was a welcome escape from the usual cocktail dress!

For a more casual daytime approach I opted for more comfortable footwear, classic aviators and a black cargo jacket. I have to mention this pin/brooch as well. Super cool right? I bought this on clearance at Nordstrom Rack. It’s the first time I’ve seen a medallion of this sort. You’ll see a similar black and silver beaded one in future blog posts that I purchased the dame day. I went home and started laying the brooches on various jackets, coats & blazers. I hope these are the first in a large collection! I adore any sort of unique accessory and these are definitely a cool touch to any outfit.

I am including a few street style looks from Pinterest for you to see how other fashionistas work the Military trend. Comment below and let me know which look is your favorite!

Standing at attention, –V. xoxo
