REVLON: Colorstay Liquid Lipstick in “TOP TOMATO”
Supermodel Miranda Kerrs go to shade. Nearly every “Street Style” photo of Miranda has her wearing this shade with both casual daytime outfits and fancier evening looks. This long lasting formula REALLY stays put. Even with a thin gloss overcoat, which I recommend layering on as a final touch to avoid dryness. As the name suggests the color is a bit more orange based. Which makes it easy to wear and a little less dramatic than the next two options.
CLINIQUE: Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick in “DEEP LACQUER”
A very creamy formula. The color is deep, with enough blue undertones to really make your pearly whites POP! I absolutely adore it with a clear gloss over top.
MAC: Lipstick in “DARE YOU”
A bold red that requires precision when applying. I suggest painting on with a lipbrush. Mac lipsticks feature a lot of pigment but this shade seems to flatter many skintones. (Thanks to my girlfriends that have tried it and all loved it!) Pair it with a lighter pink gloss to soften as needed.
