Style Inspiration: Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw —

If you asked any fashion forward thinking girl which fictional characters closet they would want to raid you would get ONE answer: Carrie Bradshaw.

The fashion on “Sex & the City” will live on forever. The first movie, which this look was created for, didn’t disappoint us when it came to sartorial inspiration. Though each of the flawless four ladies had impeccable style unique to their character no one lived for Fashion more than Miss Bradshaw.

She had several iconic accessories throughout the series: the giant flower brooch, the gold “Carrie” lettered necklace, the vintage diamond collar seen in the last season, etc.. Remember that season? Where she fell in love with the sexy older Russian man who proved that ballerinas can be hot…

…but in the first SATC film it was ALL about this belt. It is shown numerous times, brilliantly paired with all sorts of outfits. But what I loved most was the idea of layering it over a sweet floral print to give the outfit some edge.

I did my own interpretation here with raspberry pink peep toe pumps and a romantic floral blouse when filming my “June Favorites” video for you! I wanted to share what accessories and beauty products I’m currently obsessed with. So have a look at the video below.
